Electronic access control
Standalone keypad and fob access control for single doors
A standalone system controls one door on its own. Users are added and removed at the reader by code or fob, so there is no software to manage. It is quick to install and good value for one or two doors.

When to go networked
If you have several doors, frequent staff changes, or need to see who used a door and when, a networked Paxton system will save time. We will tell you honestly which suits your site.
Questions we are often asked
What happens in a power cut?
Systems have a battery backup. On escape routes we use fail-safe locking so the door releases if power is lost.
Can a standalone system be upgraded later?
The door hardware usually can be reused when you move to a networked system, so the first spend is not wasted.
