Window Handles

With Aluminum, Wooden and UPVC windows there are mainly 2 types of handles (excluding Tilt & Turn). They are known as Espag handles or as Cockspur handles.

Espag window handles are used on newer windows and operate an internal locking mechanism which secures your windows. Cockspur handles are typically used on older windows and work by simply hooking the sash over to the frame to secure the window.

These both can break due to general wear and tear but luckily both are easily replaced.
